Can we please ask that you do not bring any dogs (including on leads) onto the school site while we have children here. This includes when dropping off and collecting children each day.
While we know most of the dogs that have been onsite have been well controlled and are well behaved, we also have numbers of children where this has been causing some distress.
If you wish to walk your dog through the school site afterhours and over the weekend then you are very welcome to do so.
Thank you.

As we have been planning for 2024 we have been looking at the placement in classes. As always this is a process of prayerfully considering what is going to be the best for each of the students and staff. In 2024 there are going to be some changes to the year levels taught by some of the staff within Years 1-6. We wanted to take the chance to let you all know of these.
In 2024 we will have teaching in:
- Years 0-2: Mrs Luke, Miss Kendrew, Miss Nicholson, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Carter
- Years 3-4: Mr Robb and Mrs van Mechgelen
- Years 5-6: Mrs Collins and Mr Smith

On Thursday a great group of Year 5-8 students represented Emmanuel Christian School at the Zone Athletics Sports held at Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub. A windy day which was a little cool at times, however a great group of students who represented themselves and the school very well.
