EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PRESENTS:

  • Matinee Performance – 1.30
  • Evening Performance – 7pm
  • Christchurch Community Church (Christchurch Chinese Church) – 286 Greers Road, Bryndwr.

Students are working hard to memorise Music, Words, Lines and Dances for a spectacular performance of the Biblical Story of Esther, acted by the Senior Students in Year 9 and 10.

There will be 2 Performances on Friday the 5th of May:

Matinee ‘Dress Rehearsal’ which the rest of the school will attend (they will be bussed to and from the venue). Grandparents are welcome to join us for this Performance at 1.30 – 2.30 but seating will be very limited.  No tickets required.
We will provide transport to the venue for this Dress Rehearsal.

Evening Performance: 7pm – 8pm.  Year 9 and 10 performing students need to arrive at 5.30, the Choir and Orchestra at 6pm. We need to be on the stage and ready to start by 6.40. (Note: Instruments and Music can be left at the church after the matinee performance, the church will be locked in between, so instruments are secure.)

Cost: $5 per person
Tickets are available from the school Office

Please make next Friday a priority viewing – we promise it will be worth your while!
Come and see our students shine!!

Reminder: tickets are still available for the evening performance from the school office. It would be wonderful for the students to perform to a ‘sold-out’ auditorium – filled to the brim. We still have 130 seats to fill – please invite your friends, relatives, and neighbours – it will be a great night and the message of hope is one that needs to be heard ‘at such a time as this!’
Grandparents are most welcome to attend the Matinee performance at 1.30pm at the Christchurch Community Church (Chinese Church, 286 Greers Road) – the remainder of the school  will be watching the Production that afternoon, (bussed to and from the venue) so seating is limited.

Information Night for Year 10 Parents – Tuesday 9th May 7pm

Last Term Year 10 Parents should have received an email with some information about some changes to the Secondary School NCEA assessments.

These do have an impact on our 2022 Year 10 students.  We would really encourage as many parents of our Year 10 students to come to this information night so we can provide you with further information and answer questions.

Piano needed

Our piano in the hall is needing to be replaced.  We have owned this piano for well over 20 years and it’s had a lot of use and the time has come for us to replace it.

Do you know of a family member or friend who is downsizing and would like to donate their piano?  The piano would need to be in very good condition (not needing any work to be done as otherwise we will just be in the same position we are in now with the current piano).

Or perhaps you have a great fundraising idea and would be willing to run a fundraiser to help to raise funds for a new piano?  We would love to hear from you!

Lunch Online (Lunch delivery service)

Lunch Online provides a lunch delivery service to ECS on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
