As you will be aware the Emmanuel Proprietors Trust (EPT) charges Attendance Dues for each student who attends Emmanuel Christian School. In 2022 these are $1150 per student. Thank you for those of you who have paid your 2022 attendance dues already, for others can we please ask that you ensure that these are paid in full prior to the end of the 2022 school year.
These attendance dues are important to allow the trust to maintain and develop the school buildings and facilities.
In 2021 the EPT indicated that there would be an increase in attendance dues for the 2023 year. This increase will be as follows: From the start of 2023 Attendance Dues will increase by $100 to $1250 per student. This increase will enable the EPT to both meet rising costs, and to begin further planning for on going site development.
Thank you

ICAS offers optional assessments for students in a variety of different subjects for students in Years 3-10. At Emmanuel students have the option to sit these in one or more of English, Mathematics and Science .
While we will supervise and run these assessments at school please be aware they are not part of our regular assessment programme. They are an optional extra available for families who would like to take part.
These assessments are not easy and all require students to have a good grasp of reading to access the matterial. They are completed as an online digital assessment. Further information on ICAS can be found at: https://www.icasassessments.com/
There is a cost of $20.70 per subject to sit these assessments which is paid at the time you register your child. If you would like your child to sit one or more of these assessments you need to register them and pay for the assessment on the following web page. This must be completed by 1st August 2022
ICAS Registration
You will need to enter the school access code: TDS767

House ‘Sing Off’ Competition: Thursday afternoon 7th of July (Friday if wet)
|
We are finishing the Term with a House ‘Sing Off’ Competition. Everybody in the school is involved in this fun competition! Last year Aroha won the House ‘Dance Off’ competition and it looks as though they will have stiff competition to defend the title!
You may have heard your child singing: ‘Singahumba’ over the past few weeks. This is a South African folk song exhorting us to persevere in our onward march toward Heaven with joyful singing!
The House Competition will be held outside as we don’t have the room to fit the whole school indoors. Your child will need to come to school in their house colours and will need to be warmly dressed for the outdoor conditions in the afternoon.

These are available in the sickbay for the girls to come and collect whenever they need them.
